Located at Chandler's Desert Breeze Park, enjoy a ride aboard an open-air train featuring pulled by an 1880's replica engine on a scenic 3/4 mile tour of the park. Visitors will also discover an Allan Herschell Carousel from the 1950s featuring 30 painted ponies that have delighted riders for years. The Desert Breeze Railroad is a historic railroad that operates off I-10 in Chandler. The excursion train was built by the Union Pacific and Southern Pacific railroads, and was used to haul freight until the 1990s. Today, it's open for tours on weekends from March through November. You can choose between an hour tour or a two-hour tour of the line.
