Mar 09, 2015 · So maybe have four tens ready: you're ready to tip two guys ten bucks apiece, and if you just love them to pieces and they're so nice, they wipe their feet, they're careful with your door molding, etc., then you can thrust twenty bucks into each of their hands. And if there's three guys for whatever reason, you can just give them each a ten.

Jun 28, 2016 · I work for a furniture store where you do have to pay up front for delivery. Tipping is not expected. However, if it’s a third story apartment and a hot day and you can afford it, you might do it just because they’re doing heavy lifting so you don’t have to.

Aug 18, 2010 · I'm a massage therapist and people will tip me $10, $20, $25 after an hour massage where my cut is $35. So I've become a lot more open to tipping people for doing jobs I don't want to, or cannot do. For someone to come into my home, drag away an old appliance, and bring in a new one, that's worth a tip!!! You are very thoughtful Eddie.

Jan 07, 2014 · Personally I have not done this as I either paid for delivery or it was 'free'. Having said that, if I asked the delivery guys to do something above and beyond just delivering the furniture (ie. move some other furniture out to the curb or to another room), I would probably tip them $20 or so.

And they pay the minimum cause they say that "we get tips" ok the delivery charge $ 20 or $30 dollars go straight to Panera bread not for the driver. 2 in big orders like over $1000 dollars we don't get tip or only $10 dollars or $15 no matter how hard did we work to make the order, package the order and deliver the order.

Apr 28, 2010 · I was the second poster on this thread. I assumed this is what the OP was referring to -- i.e., you buy a piece of furniture and the store delivers it. If you are already paying for delivery, I don't tip on top of that. If we are talking about a moving company moving furniture, I tip $20-$30 per person.
