The USPS is quite out of hand! It's getting ridiculous. When your package is Out for Delivery by 8pm and it doesn't show, is it REALLY hard to changed the status to the next day?! Dec 09, 2011 · They supposedly have till 8pm to deliver. As far as packages go they will leave all packages on your porch or door unless it comes certified mail for which you need to sign for. USPS does not update the package delivery on their website for several hours after delivery. I get packages from them monthly and this is regular practice.

Dec 20, 2015 · Not at all true. This time of year, every year, USPS delivers really early in the morning, and late into the evening. This week I've seen their vehicles at 8am and 7:30pm. Last year we received mail as late as 8:30pm. But I've also had the "out for delivery" problem, where it was on a truck, but not delivered, for whatever reason.
