Ever. That's just idiocy. If you wait until they get there to show them $100 you will NOT be getting your pizza.

My brother is in school and doesn't work so that he can concentrate on classes, my dad gives him $100/week for food/gas/etc. Always gives him a $100 bill. I don't know if it's legal to refuse large bills, but sometimes there just isn't enough change in the til so they can't really do anything about it. They do lie about it though. The other day I was at the supermarket and asked for $100 cash out, and the woman said she didn't have that much cash.
