Unfortunately the delivery fee determined by a lot of factors; the size of the delivery area, the traffic, wages, merchant costs etc. Generally the delivery charge is attempting to cover the cost of drivers. So if you're in an area where drivers can do under 2 deliveries per hour the delivery charge will be higher.

Jun 07, 2019 · The delivery fee is really not a good name for it. It should be called store insurance fee, because it helps pay for the extra catastrophic insurance premiums that every delivery store (and not just Domino's) is required to carry on top of the regular insurance each driver carries.
