Apr 27, 2011 · In the UK delivery from Dell has always been pretty good, i.e. they quote 10 days as their standard lead time and usually beat that. When there has been delays it's been fairly easy to find out why, although do have a good Account Manager which seems to help

This is the message that appears at the UPS tracking page right after Dell is done with the production and goes on with delivery. I suppose this is a rather standard line, but the strange thing is that the Dell product can be in transit to a UPS facility for more than a week.
