On 2/3 I ordered an XPS Studio 16 laptop and all was well and good with an EDD of 2/23. 3 weeks does seem a bit long compared to Dell delivery times of say, 5 years ago, but since I had customized my system to include the i7 Quad Core processor, I thought that might be the hold up as it was the same processor in the desktop.

He canceled my order and placed a new one for the same machine, but with an upgraded processor, hard drive, and warranty. This time, the new expected delivery date is set to March 10th 2009.

RE: Delivery Problems Although it wasn't much of an exaggeration. Between the ordered date and the estimated delivery date there is 864 hours difference and if I on the other hand had ordered a lenovo laptop that very day and time, the seller had guaranteed it would be delivered to me by 23/05/2014 afternoon, which is about 48 hours and couple of more hours.
