May 29, 2008 · I placed an order for a DELL computer last night, and checked the order status this afternoon, it says the delivery is on Phase 4 out of 5 phases. Phase 4 is Delivery Preparation. The estimated delivery date is the 18/6/08 which is 3 weekes :o. I have heard that the majority of dell delivery time is spent on stage 2/3 where the PC is being built.

Nov 23, 2010 · I ordered a desktop from Dell.com on 11/19/10. It says the ESD is 12/7/10. It has been in the "In Production" stage since the 19th. Today, it switched to "Delivery Preparation". What does that mean? And if it means its about to be shipped, how can the ESD be so late?

Sep 07, 2016 · When the delivered quantity equals planned quantity, the status DLV and indicator "Delivery completed" (AFPO-ELIKZ) should be set. However, sometimes they may not be in sync. Goods receipt quantity and value is wrong in production order compared with the actual GR material document. This is considered as an inconsistency.
