Buntzen Lake is a great area for all kinds of outdoor activity. There are picnic sites, a boat launch (no motors), fenced off leash dog area. The lake is stocked with trout. It's also the beginning of numerous trails ranging in difficulty. There's a beach toilets on the north side of lake that is an easy 4-5 km hike.
