The Bruneau Dunes Observatory supported by the local astronomy society provides hands on viewing with the large observatory telescope and other telescopes setup to observe this phenomenon till very late at night. Also, interesting astronomy lectures on Friday and Saturday night at the Education Center.

If you come to the park to observe the meteor shower, please remember the Park closes at 10 pm unless you are camping. The Park has a daily $7 dollar vehicle entrance fee, unless you have a current Idaho State Parks Passport. Snow at the dunes! The park is open, but road conditions are poor in the area. The visitor center will be closed for the rest of the day.
