Once you hit 6-8 weeks, things should start to get easier. generalky, baby gets more efficient and so will eat and be done faster. my 10 month old still nurses every 3 or so hours, but he eats so quickly that he's done seemingly almost immediately. so hang in there; it will get easier soon! s. sarelnad. I know all the books and experts say that a 3 to 4 month old needs about 3 to 3 and half hours a day and 10 to 12 at night. If your baby is getting that amount but not at times you want maybe you could start adjusting slowly. Like getting her up half hour earlier each morning until she is going alseep earlier at night.

Very normal. My 8 week old nurses every 90 minutes during the day. We got her to sleep 6-8 hours at night by doing a bath a 8 pm and then putting her down in the crib with one more feeding at 10 pm.
