All hospitals have ppl who rave and ppl who have nothing but negative experiences. As an RN I would go to both GW and Georgetown bc I know that they have the best of the best. Technology, specialists, higher level nursing care with standards. Georgetown is also the only magnet hospital in DC which is an amazing accomplishment.

I live near Bethesda and always thought if I ever got pregnant, we would use Sibley for delivery. However, I've become nervous about them due to their high C-section rates and lack of NICU.

I'm not familiar with either hospitals, had a girlfriend who worked in labor and delivery at Sibley, she quit after 3 days and said it was a disaster, super unorganized and all over the place. I second that suggestion for Anne Arundel Hospital in Annapolis, I will be having my baby there in December. Hope this helps.
