Antietam Creek Campground is the southernmost drive-in campground on the C&O Canal. It is located south of Sharpsburg, Maryland, at Mile 69.4 on the canal towpath.

Camped for a night at this C&O Canal campground. It is located a few hundred yards north of where Antietam Creek enters the Potomac River. It is a "walk in" campground. There is vehicle parking on side of road. You then walk your gear across the C&O canal to about 20 campsites located between canal and river.
