It's one of the OG San Diego brewing operations. They have the Tony Gwynn museum inside, and their main flagship beer is the .394 (Pale Ale, and amazing) which is his record single season batting average. Big open space, relaxed and great variety of beer. I also really like their Nut Brown, which is a staple. Great spot

Alesmith is such a legendary San Diego brewery and likely many people's favorites in the county. They have a huge taproom with plentiful parking and ample indoor + outdoor seating. Awesome variety in beers; the .394 is a classic IPA option with bright, citrus notes combined with the bitter hopiness.
