I feel your pain. Asda failed to deliver to me on the apppinted evening with no explanaiton or call. After several phone calls to them they agreed to deliver the next evening and were then well over an hour late. They "generously" refunded £3.00 delivery charge. I'm going to try tesco sainsbury's ocado anyone else.

This should be your first port of call - any extra compensation's likely to be at the store's discretion so there are no guarantees, but it's certainly worth a try. At the least you should look for a refund on the delivery charge - if you've paid for express delivery and the delivery's late, you should be able to get a refund for that as a minimum.
