YABU. Tesco drivers aren’t allowed to accept tips, so if they are doing so, they are breaking their own work policy and can get fired for it. You shouldn’t knowingly put them in that position.

The ASDA delivery man once told me that it's ASDA's policy not to deliver to upstairs flats. ASDA has since added this to their FAQs so I wonder if lots of drivers were spuriously telling people that.
