My 5 month baby still wakes up every 2 hours to night feed. She has been in her own crib since 3 months old, she is bottle fed, black out room, white noise and everything you can think of to keep a baby happily sleeping.

Sometime, 2 hours after bedtime, sometimes at 11, sometimes (after the midnight feeding) at 2, or not going back to sleep after eating at 5. We try for a wakeup time anytime after 6am. We wouldn't take him out of his crib, but went in to pat his bum (he's a tummy sleeper) every 5-10 minutes.

I say a 5 month old can typically last 4-6 hours without nursing at night, so for the first wake up after two hours DON'T FEED. Use the same techniques you used to get him to sleep earlier, just shush pat him down, a 5 month old at a healthy weight should be completely fine after two hours.

My 5 month baby has not regressed but has been constantly waking every 2 hours for the last 6 weeks or more. He's never slept more than 6 hours and this has been only once or twice. I try to give him water or a bottle but he screams the house down if I don't feed him. I'm at my wits end.

He usually sleeps quite well for the first 4-5hours of the night but after the first waking can be up every 1 - 3 hours. He wakes at different times every morning. Usually between 6 and 7 and is not on a nap schedule because I find that he is still in the stage where he gets sleepy 2 hours after waking. Because he wakes up at different times and his naps can last anywhere from 30min to 2 hours depending on the …

Me too. 4 1/2 month old used to go 7-10-2-6. Now she's on 7-10-12-2(wide awake for about an hour whether she's fed or not)4-6. It started with a day of very light daytime feeds so I think she was just hungry in the night A good night of feeds meant she ate less well during the day and now she is eating at night to compensate.

I have a 5 1/2 month old son with severe acid reflux. He still wakes up every 2-3 hours at night to feed (and eats about 5-6 ounces each time). We do not believe in the Ferber method but have tried Dr. Sears, Babywise, and Baby Whisperer techniques consistently to no avail. We have tried subbing water for formula at night.
