3000 PVCs in 24 hrs. I recently had a holter monitor evaluation and was found to have approximately 3000 PVCs within a twenty-four hour period with some bigeminy. It seems to be worse at night. I had an echocardiogram done and all was normal except for the PVCs. I was told that the PVCs were benign and it was something I would have to live with.

I was told by my EP, pvc's continually over 20% of your total heartbeats daily, needs treatment - otherwise it can lead to pvc induced cardiomyopathy. Right now, if yours HR is 80 pbm thats roughly 115,000/24 hr and 30,000 pvc's = 26.5% of your HB (mine was 42%) Mine were idiopathic; nothing I did or didn't do changed them; other than getting aggrevated and I noticed exercise made them worse.

According to the math, occasional PVCs means 120 to 240 per day. If you’ve documented a lot more than this, but also a lot less than 15,000, you’re somewhere in the range of moderate frequency.
