1972 12 Hours of Sebring. My father and I attended this race and we slept in the back of our family station wagon friday night . The #57 Corvette team was from Tampa and had their shop not far from our house. I used to ride over on my bike and watch them work on the cars. I was 13 years old. This was the first sports car race I had ever attended.
