For monitoring the operating hours, I have done following logic: Connected pin [PrOphTot] (Pres.total op.hours) to DW_DI conversion block and then to DI_R conversion block then divided the value by 3600 to get the value in (Hours) and then connected the real value to AVAL_OP block to be able to show the value in HMI.

This can be set up from XWorks. As an example, if you look at a BO block. There's an input Pin named EnOph (Enable Operating Hours Count). If this is set to Yes, the counter will start each time the BO is switched On. There are several other pins associated with this as well (input and output pins).
