That's what I'm doing, I purchased XIII a few days after release and only recently hit the grind fest of Chapter 11 (Cie'th Stone Missions), clocking in just over 40 hours of game play. Now I find out XIII-2 will be released in less than a month, I intend on finishing up XIII within the next 2-3 weeks and spend a week preparing my body for XIII-2.

MY two cents: XIII-2 is the weakest on both gameplay and plot. First game have about 7~8h of character-intensive cinemnatics, while XIII-2 have hardly 2h. Gameplay-wise the same, First game you can easilly cross over 70h on the first playthrough, while I couldn't wait to finish XIII-2, which took me about 30h and I never plan on playing it again.
