Wufenpu Market opening hours is open from 2pm-11pm and you’ll find Raohe Night Market open from 4pm to 11pm. Most shops begin closing around 10pm. You won’t find many places open closer to midnight because they’ll be trying to catch the last train.

It takes 7 min. for the train (regular train, not MRT) to arrive in Taipei, but it will take 10 min. or longer to walk and connect from TRA to MRT (connect underground, no need to go outdoors). So you'll need to get your timing right in order to catch the last MRT to Ximen, which arrives at Taipei Main Station at 00:15.

I read on this forum that Wufenpu shops start at 4pm. Closing time is around 9:30~10pm, if I remember correctly. Monday is not a good day to do Wufenpu as the shops are busy re-stocking and dealing with their bulk purchasers.

Wufenpu is constantly buzzing with activity each day from the early afternoon until nearly midnight, with somewhat flexible hours of operation based on customer demand. Most shops restock and ship to outside vendors on Mondays, so it’s better to visit on Tuesdays when the market is full of fresh merchandise, or on Sundays for potential last-minute discounts.

When i google about Wufenpu, one of the key searches was on the operation hours. Although it was said to be from 11 am till about 11 pm / 12 noon daily, i personally felt that the actual hours largely depend on the shopkeepers. Ladies would go crazy in Wufenpu! It was obvious that a high percentage of the shops had ladies as their target audience.
