Wrangell Mountain Transport runs the only shuttle between Kennicott and McCarthy. We left feeling they could use some competition. The shuttle drivers were not very friendly and the price seems steep for a 5-mile ride, even considering the remote location. The good thing is that the shuttles run frequently, although only until about 7 pm.
