Woronora Dam is just south of Waterfall and a 5 minute drive off the highway. The picnic area is on the edge of the dam and the whole area is very well maintained. The dam is open from 10am - 5pm with extended hours until 7pm on weekends and public holidays during daylight savings. There is no shade on top of the dam wall so you want to time your trip carefully during Summer.
