So you'll be working on other projects which are not cloud related. you have to do bid work. This has got to be the second worse thing I hate about Deloitte. You work long hours on a bid, you don't get utilisation and then you get beaten by another supplier in price (again) you have to do pd work. This is the worst thing about the firm.

I've worked for Deloitte. The stories about long hours and founded to an extent, but they're usually only for short periods. I wouldn't say the hours there are any worse than another professional services firm. It's not a good firm to join if you are senior, but as a junior working your way up it's a good place to be with lots of opportunity.
