We spent $500 on a two hour lesson for the 2 kids there-Snowshoe. Winterplace is the Walmart of skiing. If you want your kids to learn to ski and your back can't handle holding them while going down a slope...put them in skiwee. Enjoy your day. Then pick them up and ski with them for a couple hours. Winterplace is open till about 10p.
