I can click on a button to restart now, or I can choose to be reminded in 10 minutes, 1 hour or 4 hours. I want to postpone the restart for 4 hours, but this NEVER works for me, after less than 10 minutes, the same dialog appears telling me that the computer will automatically restart in 4 and a half minutes.

Yea for whatever reason my pc keeps failing to configure the new updates as well. But at least I have 4 hours and an opportunity to continually postpone the restart. Except for last night when it restarted right after a very important total war battle.

By default Windows Gives max of 4 hours of delay you can increase to any number, lets say 24 hours so you will have to just click it once. In Start Menu, Type gpedit.msc and you will see the Group Policy Editor listed under programs. Click to launch; Now navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Component > Windows Update

Under HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU, set AuOptions to 4, set the install time with ScheduledInstallTime, enable AlwaysAutoRebootAtScheduledTime and specify the delay in minutes through AlwaysAutoRebootAtScheduledTimeMinutes.
