154 reviews of William B Umstead State Park "Very easy to get to (from either I40 or 70). They have lots of trails (people and horses!), or you can boat/fish in designated parts of the creek. The trails are so-so; I prefer the ones that run along the water (which makes the Eno park a better option in my opinion). The other pitfall for me with the Umstead is that it's a very young forest.
