We’ll depart Whittier at approximately 7AM and return at approximately 6PM. We will generally run thirty to ninety miles from port (1-3 hours of travel time) and will have the option of fishing the protected waters of Prince William Sound or the more remote open ocean waters of the Gulf of Alaska.

The halibut day trip is far and away our most popular charter. The primary goal of this trip is to secure the current limit of two halibut per passenger. We depart from Whittier at approximately 7AM, with the boat usually returning to the harbor around 6PM. We will generally run fifty to ninety miles from port, roughly two to three hours of travel time.

This flexible trip takes us into the heart of Harriman Fjord. We’ll spend one to three hours at the glaciers, making our way back through Ester Passage. We will visit Ester’s Salmon Hatcheries , maybe an oyster farm, and view the popular kittiwake rookery. Rates: $225 Per Person (Four Person Minimum: April-May, Five Person Minimum: June-Sept.)
