Introduced in Fall 2021, the Whitman Outdoor Orientation Trips (WOOT) Program offers outdoor adventures designed for new incoming students (first-year or new transfers) to get out into the wilderness with fellow Whitties over October Break. Whitman College Outdoor Program Open Kayak Pool Manager. Pay: Minimum wage. Hours: Mondays and Wednesday, 7:30-9:15 PM. Task: Maintain equipment in a neat and orderly fashion. Introduce beginners to the sport in a comfortable and supportive setting. Wet exits, basic paddling, and equipment fit and appropriate use will be the minimum teaching skills required.
