Also consider going far north - Whiteface is about 330 miles from nyc (6 ish hours) but it’s excellent when conditions are good. It’s about an hour drive from jay peak (another excellent spot) and close to Bolton valley. Cannon is also not too far from there. It really depends on your ski passes. Get the ski3 and a Indy pass and you are covered
