The parking lot fills up around 10 am so if you really want to be able to park closer to the beach you need to arrive at like 8 am which is kind of annoying, the lot isn't that big and there's only one designated parking lot so if it fills up they close the gates and you end up parking along the road leading up to the parking lot and the walk is about 1.8 - 2 km into the beach.
