White Clay Creek is the best I've found so far. The park is located in both Delaware and Pennsylvania, with many entrances that take you to walking trails along the creek. The entrance in New Castle county, DE, that goes to the Nature Center, is moderate difficulty and in kept in a relatively natural state.

Mill Creek, a tributary of the White Clay Creek, is monitored at two locations, sites #1 and #4. Site #1 is on Mill Creek at Mill Creek Road. The site is in a residential area with mature trees.
