Driving in the hotel, parking valet staff were either understaffed or still trying to work out how to operate. The small driveway was full and no one was around to help.

Very helpful for that. However the glass bottom swimming pool that was one of the reasons for picking that hotel is only open 7-11am, and 5-9pm. These are not the hours I like to swim, that I do in the afternoon. I did not even realize the pool was not open and went swimming, and after a while a manager came and asked me to leave.

Bonjour and thank you for considering Le Westin Montréal. There is an indoor pool which is accessible daily from 7AM 'til 9PM (10 on weekends). Valet parking is mandatory and costs $32 (tax incl.) per day. Self park is available at the Convention Centre in front of the hotel and will save you +/- CAD $10 a day.
