Wat Intharawihan is one of Thailand's most frequently visited temples. Built during the later Ayutthaya period, it is located in the Nakhon District of Bangkok. The main feature of the temple is a 32 meter high, 10 meters wide standing Buddha known as Luang Pho To or Phrasiariyametri.

Admission & Hours. The Wat Intharawihan is open daily from 8:30 am until 8 pm. Admission is free. We visited towards the end of the day and there were only two other people there. I’ve read that this is one of the less-visited temples (by tourists), so you could probably visit at any time of the day and not be surrounded by tons of other people.

⏰ Opening Hours The temple is open daily from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm. 👍 Recommended? I would like to recommend spending at least an hour visiting the temple. We visited this temple at 8:15 am to 9:15 am when there are only small crowds. 📔 Notes Be cautious if you want to climb the central prang because the steps are very steep.
