2 reviews of Walmart "This Walmart is considered a mall shopping Center for Walmart. It is a regular Walmart, but in a mall setting. Most of the stores are shoes and materials like Joanns Fabrics. Right inside Walmart is a little McDonald's Ice Cream kiosk that has chocolate ice cream! Wish America McDonald's would have this. The Walmart in general isnt anything special.

This location is convenient situated next to a large mall (Galerias Vallerta) and near the marina (where cruise ships dock and many excursions by boat launch). I had forgotten my sun hat at home and was able to find a reasonably priced one up front and center in Walmart.

I'm in Nuevo now, on my 12th day in Vallarta. Have been in Puerto Vallarta, at 2 different locations, since June 8. Just got here. Spent 90 minutes at the Nuevo Walmart today, shopping for all sorts of things my resort condo doesn't have (like a decent knife, paper towels, potholder and more...birthday gifts, food, etc).
