Asked April 3, 2020. It is really hard to find someone to cover your position as a manager so not very flexible. Work day is 6:30-3p ish daily, back on weekend nights 8:30p-9:15 ish. If you have trained a relief person then if something happens like picking up a sick kid early then it is a little easier covering the rest of the day. Hours are set, 6 days on working, and then you get 2 days off.

Business Outlook. Pros. You can make good tips, 24 hours means easy to get hours, and simplistic menu is easy to memorize. If you have a good unit manager, I would highly recommend working at waffle house. Cons. On second and third shift, it can be difficult to balance your side work with customer service.
