I had a really important package shipped on the 20th via Fedex Ground. The package was scheduled for delivery tomorrow Monday the 27th. I just got an email from Fedex saying they've changed the delivery date to Tuesday the 28th. WHAT GIVES! The package is less than 35 miles from my house. It's been at this facility since Saturday!

Feb 23, 2008 · Why did FedEx change their estimated delivery date on me? I was supposed to be getting a package today, I've been tracking it since Tuesday. It had an estimated delivery day of it being delivered today and when I checked it this morning it was moved back until freaking Tuesday, the 26th.

I have no idea who comes up with the name. This data field is FedEx's estimated delivery date based on the location of the first scan (NJ in this case) instead of the return address.

Jun 21, 2010 · Yesterday I got shipping notification andthe delivery date on the FedEx tracking site was June 24th by 5pm. Today the date changed to June 23rd by 5pm! Possibly getting it a day early? I know they will probably hold it till the 24th, but why would the date change from 24th to 23rd?
