If thats the case, just fill it out and put it somewhere the mail deliverer will see it. But what I tend to do, is just take it in to the USPS location that it has on the card, and I just pick it up there.

Jul 17, 2009 · Depends on the service. SOme will attempt delivery the next day, some are a one shot deal. It should say if they will attempt delivery again on the form they left you. They'll also say where the nearest pickup location is should you have missed the final attempt.
