It will take 5 hours to install the update and it only does so when the engine is running. Has anybody done this update as it could take several days to get through this process if it pauses every time the engine stops.

It's a 2013 model so it will be the older RTI Nav system that uses DVD updates (it changed to the Sensus Nav system that uses USB-based updates in MY14.5). When the cars were new they came with a card to register with Volvo Mapcare (a website run by Volvo and Navteq/HERE, who supply the Nav software) that got you 2 free updates.

Another map update. Version 1160 Dated 19/08/2016 Full update 42.32GB. With the updates coming around once a month just now, is there any noticeable changes? Seems odd, so many updates, normally Volvo only update the Sensus Nav, twice a year. tem. Hopefully they are improving it based on some of the feedback.
