Whether you want to go on a nice 5k run around the lake, have a lazy picnic in the grass, take your kids to the playground, or throw a little frisbee, this gem fits the bill. While it isn't the most isolated of parks (which, to me, is ideal), for Hoover residents this place is fantastic.

In 2007, the park was chosen as the location for Hoover's 40th birthday celebration. The park also features a large playground, beach volleyball courts, and two covered pavilions available for rent to the public. For more information on rentals, please call 205-444-7792.
