The skating at Robson Square last took place from December 1st, 2019, until February 29th, 2020. It did not take place last year due to the pandemic but returns for the 2021/22 season. The rink is open seven days a week including holidays. Sundays to Thursdays the hours of operation are from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

The Robson Square ice rink is Vancouver’s only outdoor public skating rink, originally opened in 1982. It was closed in 1991, then renovated and reopened in 2009, ahead of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. Designed by Vancouver architect Arthur Erickson, Robson Square originally opened in two phases in 1978 and 1979.
