Van Ruiten Winery, on Hwy. 12 right outside of Lodi, is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. The staff at the tasting room knows their wines and they are able to explain the complexities in a straightforward way. They are also friendly and make all visitors feel like they are VIPs. The wines are varied, affordable and very good.
