My wife and I visited the Battleship Memorial Park (entrance/parking $2) in May 2017. You can see a lot from the car park, but I highly recommend paying the $15 to visit the aviation museum, the submarine (USS Drum) and Battleship USS Alabama - in that order.

Making a visit to Battleship Memorial Park is an excellent way to spend a morning or an afternoon or and entire day with your family. It's inexpensive as well!
