Depends on your route, RCAs are on evaluated time... so as for me, my route is evaluated at 7.49 hours or something close to that. After my probationary time I get paid the 17 some odd dollars for 7.49 hours no matter how long or short the day is... But I'm also just a relief RCA so I only work every Saturday unless the regular takes a day off.

My first two interviewers told me one day a week most weeks. My third office insisted that their RCA's nearly always worked full time and I've seen weeks ranging from 30-65 hours. The larger the office the more hours you tend to get. If you're looking to be worked to death, a CCA job is worth a cautious look.

At that time it was only available to RCAs that worked more than 30 hours per week. With the signing of the 2015-2018 NRLCA/USPS Contract, all RCAs are now eligible for this plan. No choice of plan. USPS DOES pay some on this plan. Click here for more information

RCA's make $16 and change an hour. You'll be paid evaluated hours for the route which means the PO says the route can be done in 8 hours so that's what you'll get paid for. If it takes you 9 hours you get paid 8 but if it takes less, say 6 hours you'll still get paid for 8 hours.
