The lights can be viewed 24/7, but best at night when they're on. You can park in the garage for free until 10pm but sometimes the gates block you from being able to get back to the garage close to 10pm. You'll see a ton of folks taking photos around here; however, if you go super late at night or on a weekday around 11am it tends to be pretty dead. This art installation is free to access and is outside of the LACMA.

The lights are on every day from dusk to dawn. The view is prettier at night when they are all lit up and parking on the street is free after 8 p.m. Since the museum is following CDC guidelines there may be a small line, depending on what time you come, and masks are required.
