Preloader (Former Employee) - Potsdam, NY - November 28, 2021. I worked as a pre-loader. Usually work started around 3:00am and ended around 9:30am. The work environment is usually agreeable. One big concern is that there was a serious tension between management and the workforce which. caused some issues.

It really depends on if you're a night or morning person. I liked preload better, but I could get more hours on twilight because I'm in a big hub. I got 35 hours this week. If I was on preload I would have worked 17 1/2. Plus my pay is the same because I'm a pick off. Ask around and see where you can get the most hours at.

As a UPS part-time employee, the same eligibility rules apply to you as full-time employees, except that you have to work 225 hours, rather than 400 hours, in a three-month eligibility determination period. In the event you do work 400 or more hours in a fixed eligibility determination period, you will receive the same benefits as full-time employees during the corresponding three-month coverage period.

My experience with UPS as a preloader At first I did not want to post anything but now that i got my W-4's from working the holiday season, my rage is piping hot. As a disclaimer I don't speak for all UPS locations but the one that I worked for made me feel embarrassed to be associated with this company.
