After purchasing two airline tickets for $860, I was suspicious on how the website was reacting. Within a couple of hours, Ultimate Fares tried to charge my credit card several times, including one amount for $1666! My husband immediately called the credit card company to stop payment and was advised to cancel the credit card - of which he did.

When I called them after 24 hours, like they said to do, they told me that they had no record of the reservation and that the flight was 66% more money. The email I got said that my credit card was charged and I was confirmed but that was a lie. They told me on the phone that was just an automatic email and didn't mean anything.

I'd be suspicious of a fare that is so cheap. But I'd still be tempted. I'd probably book it and then immediately (or within 1 or 2 days) call the airline and verify my booking.
