Gear Rental. VOC members can "rent" out gear from the Clubroom. Rental is free but a large cash-only deposit is required, which is returned when you bring back the gear. This page lists the gear hours and policies regarding equipment rental, as well as what gear is available.

Any VOC member is welcome to come to our meetings. If you have something to present, talk to the president or secretary before the meeting so it can be scheduled (email [email protected] or contact directly through our internal member list ). Executive meetings for Term 1 2021 school year are Mondays 6:00-7:00 pm.

A year long membership costs $45 for UBC students and $70 for everyone else. To get a membership, sign up at Clubs’ Days or drop by the clubroom during the gear hours. Your membership fee gets you: Access to member run trips. The ability to borrow gear for free. Access to our library of maps, guidebooks, and other outdoor literature.
