I have had this happen many times. Unfortunately we are not responsible for mailmans mistakes if they happen. If it says Delivered then its really out of our hands. I contacted USPS several times about this and they explained that the customer is the one that needs to file the claim, since on the sellers end, it shows that they Delivered the item.

While tracking is not really important, proof of delivery is, aka on the online tracking number saying " Successfully Delivered on xx " How about if you insure it for 500-1000$? Would you get the insurance money from them since it misses the last scan?
